Among the many things Oahu Country Club is known for is its stunning location, an elegant clubhouse and beautifully kept grounds, its Hawaiian hospitality and completely unique sense of place. It is a rare gem that’s been carefully burnished over time.
Founded on June 8, 1906, Oahu Country Club is one of the oldest private golf clubs west of the Rockies, and is now oldest existing 18-hole private course in the islands. Not only were we Hawaii’s first private 18 hole golf course, but our Club has been the place where the game and its traditions took root and flourished. We employed the islands’ first golf professional, established the oldest and most prestigious amateur championship, and Hawaii’s first women’s championship. Generations of Hawaii golfers can all trace their origins to this historic club. It is unlikely that you’ll ever find anything in the world of clubs that can match Oahu Country Club. Suffice
to say, it is like a comfortable home away from home for our members.
