"I joined OCC for a few reasons but mainly because it’s a great place for me to hold meetings with clients and business associates. There is nothing like the drive up to the clubhouse and the views we have to impress my guests."
“I really love the beauty of the grounds with their verdant valley backdrop and the stunning ocean and city view; accentuated by the changing moods dictated by the weather. I appreciate belonging to a club where I can invite friends and family to socialize over lunch or dinner. Being a member means access to the various activities OCC sponsors: special occasion dinners, bingo, and I especially enjoy oil painting with Michael Powell. Meeting new friends is a special highlight.”
“I enjoy being a member at Oahu Country Club for its challenging golf course, scenic views, great membership and convenient location to downtown Honolulu.”
– Adam Dornbush
“In my 23 + years of membership, OCC is a perfect place for me to enjoy dining, playing challenging golf and celebrating special occasions with my family and friends. The members and staff are friendly beyond my expectations. It's a place to have fun.”
– Mo Gaborno
“I first joined Oahu Country Club in 1983, and then, as now the most outstanding benefit of being a member at Oahu is the wonderful staff, some of whom have been with the Club for even longer than that. Oahu as a club has adapted to the many social and economic changes of the membership which has resulted in a vibrant and newly energized gathering place. My daughter Alexandra and I have enjoyed many special holidays at Oahu and we always feel we are amongst family. It is a privilege to belong to Oahu Country Club.”

“Oahu Country Club has been a very special part of my business and personal life for over thirty five years. Why is it so special – well first and foremost I found my closest friends through golfing at the Club. Along with these lifelong relationships with golfing sisters and through them their spouses, there are more business and professional friends than I can count. Oahu Country Club attracts and nurtures wonderful folks to know. As an early woman member – before such things were established politically correct by law, I was made to feel very welcome. Never was there a question that I would become a full voting member when that opportunity opened up. Not only that but I successfully ran for the Board of Directors for two separate terms and was unfailingly treated as an equal in the governance group which obviously was mostly gents. And gentlemen they always were. I cite this as a testimonial for any upcoming female executive in town who is looking for a Club “home”. OCC is the best. Throughout the years the clubhouse side of the operation has always been first rate. I have entertained for business and for personal gatherings on many, many occasions and have never been disappointed in the food and service. I have seen young staff begin at low levels and through training, progress through the ranks into higher service and management positions. Because of this longevity, the staff is familiar with the membership and their preferences which enhances the membership experience. And the golf course – it is always challenging and beautiful. Definitely one of the best courses in the state of Hawaii. It is with sadness that I leave Hawaii but through a Non-Resident membership, I will be able to return often to continue this long time love affair. Aloha."

“My family and I enjoy bringing the kids for a swim on the weekends and often a family “putting contest” on the practice greens. Invariably, these occasions will end with everyone having a chocolate milk shake from the grill room! This is a special time in the lives of our children, being at the elementary school age, and OCC offers a unique, fun, safe and welcoming environment to spend time together as a family.”
– Trevor Benn
"I joined OCC 23 years ago because I was tired of “waiting” for my Tee time at public courses. My family, especially friends and clients, enjoy the Club’s environment; they tell me they feel “special” when dining at the Club."
– Jan Higa
“We joined OCC in 1994 and it was a decision not taken lightly. We soon and continue to regard our membership as one highlight of our lives. We joined the right club as our grandchildren are lining up to become Junior Legacy members. The good life gets better.”
– Phil Shimmin
“The thing we treasure most about OCC are the members. Since joining a little over a year ago, our family has made so many new acquaintances and friends. It's so easy to get acclimated at OCC. Whether it's finding a game on the course, participating in a social event, or getting my kids involved with junior golf, everyone from the staff to the President welcomes you with Aloha and treats you like Ohana.”
- Danny Kim
"As a relatively new social member of OCC (since 2010), I continue to be impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff, the spirit of aloha and camaraderie amongst the members and the exceptional beauty and serenity of the Club's location and facility. It's a pleasure and honor to be a part of such a historic country club."
