Kellie Yamane accumulated 77 gross stableford over two days to win the 2019 Oahu Country Club Women’s Invitational by two points over Danielle Ujimori. Kellie accumulated 35 gross stableford points today to go along with yesterday’s incredible 42-point performance. Kellie was extremely steady today carding fourteen (14) pars. Danielle tried to make things interesting, accumulating 42 stableford points today. Danielle’s round featured seven (7) birdies today. Aiko Leong was third place with 74 stableford points and Anna Murata and Annika Espino tied for fourth place with 69 gross stableford points.
Annika took the “Overall Net Championship” accumulating 77 net stableford points. Corrie Lee-Hasselmann took the “A” Flight accumulating 72 net stableford points, edging out Mira Jang by two points. Ellen Wilson captured the “B” Flight with 73 net stableford points, Roxanne Okazaki was second with 71 net stableford points. Joy McLaughlin took the “C” Flight with 76 net stableford points, Kristina Li was second with 74 net stableford points. Gwen Omori took the “D” Flight with 74 net stableford points, Millie Yee was second with 71 net stableford points.
The 36-hole tournament uses a “Stableford” format, which awards one point for a bogey, two points for a par, three points for a birdie, four points for an eagle and five points for a double eagle.
